Ingredients for 4 servings:

• 250 g lentils

• 2 cloves garlic

• 2 onions

• 1 potato

• 2 bay leaves

• 4-5 tablespoons olive oil

• balsamic vinegar

• salt

Preparation:

Peel the onions and finely chop them. Add the lentils, chopped onions, whole garlic cloves and bay leaves to the pot. Pour 1 liter of water into the pot and boil over medium heat for 30 minutes. Peel and grate the potato and add to the lentils. Add salt and boil for an additional 15 minutes. Add 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and mix. Remove the garlic cloves and serve.
